One special
weekend each month (and on other days for private groups or parties), The
SHAMBALA PRESERVE opens its gates to the public for its series of exciting and
informative "safaris" through the world of the big cats, all of whom
are endangered or threatened species. Meet African lions, Bengal and Siberian
tigers, black and spotted leopards, servals, a Jungle cat, mountain lions, and a
Florida panther up close, and personal!
PLEASE REMEMBER: Our safaris fill up quickly, so
please try to send in your reservation at least one month in advance.
Our guided tours last approximately
three (3) hours and begin promptly at the hour indicated. Gates will open 30
minutes prior to the scheduled tour.
The tour culminates at the Shambala lake. You can bring your own picnic and enjoy a leisurely lunch in a beautiful
lakeside setting.
HELP US
RECYCLE! Bring us your old inkjet and laser toner cartridges, iPods,
laptops, and cell phones, and deposit them in the box at the check-in desk.

Simply complete the Reservation Form
and mail it along with your tax deductible donation to
us today. Because we limit the number of visitors, our
"safaris" fill up quickly, so please try to send in your reservation
form at least one month in advance. We will not send acknowledgment of
your reservation which would take critically needed funds away from the
animals. Unless you hear otherwise from us directly, you may assume your
reservation was received and you are expected on the day you requested.
There is no need to telephone us for confirmation.

The Shambala Preserve is
located north of Los Angeles,
in Acton, California. Take I-5 north
from the Los Angeles basin to the Antelope Valley Freeway (14). Exit the (14) at
Soledad Canyon Road. Turn right onto Soledad Canyon Rd. and drive 9.2 miles to 6867 Soledad Canyon. Rd. The
preserve, and parking, is on the left at the bottom of the hill.
You may want to use Mapquest to print out
specific driving directions from your location.

cannot accept credit card reservations. I understand my donation is fully

re-schedule my visit for another regularly scheduled Safari day by notifying
the preserve no later than 48 hours prior to the originally scheduled event.
